Snow clearing on your plot
Snow clearing on plots continues as in previous years. All plot owners at Furutangen are offered an agreement that continues from year to year.
Clearing after the first snowfall
We clear cautiously after the first snowfall. A firm base of snow on the road and driveway helps us achieve good results throughout the winter. Thorough scraping at the start can displace stones and gravel laid on the roads.
An insulating layer protects the ground against frost. Water pipes crossing parking areas and driveways are especially vulnerable to aggressive clearing.

This service covers snow clearing on your plot. For the 2026/27 season, the cost is provisionally estimated at NOK 2,896. We must take ongoing changes in fuel prices into account, which may lead to an adjustment closer to the payment due date.

The service is invoiced with the fixed charges and divided between instalment 4 (due 15 November) and instalment 1 (due 15 February).
Register your arrival
- Register your arrival date no later than the day before you arrive.
- Register the period you will be staying at your cabin.
- Saturday or Sunday arrivals must be registered by Thursday.
- For arrivals registered on the day you travel to the cabin, we cannot guarantee clearing before arrival. If this clearing requires work outside normal working hours, a fee of NOK 500 applies.

Fishing in Granåstjernet
Granåstjernet has trout and a normal fishing season from around 20 May to 15 September. Winter fishing is not permitted.
